【摘要】:Thisguidedescribestherequirementsforignitingoilforthepurposeofin-situburning.Itisintendedtoaiddecision-makersandspill-respondersincontingencyplanning,spillresponse,andtraining,andtoaidmanufacturersindevelopingeffectiveignitiondevices.Thisguidedescribescriteriaforthedesignandselectionofignitiondevicesforin-situburningapplications.Thisguideisnotintendedasadetailedoperationalmanualfortheignitionandburningofspilledoil.1.1Thisguiderelatestotheuseofin-situburningofspilledoil.Thefocusoftheguideisin-situburningofoilonwater,buttheignitiontechniquesanddevicesdescribedintheguidearegenerallyapplicabletoin-situburningofoilspilledonlandaswell.1.2Thepurposeofthisguideistoprovideinformationthatwillenableoil-spillresponderstoselecttheappropriatetechniquesanddevicestosuccessfullyigniteoilspilledonwater.1.3Thisguideisoneoffourrelatedtoin-situburningofoilspills.GuideF1788addressesenvironmentalandoperationalconsiderations.GuideF2152addressesfire-resistantbooms,andGuideF2230addressesburninginiceconditions.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Inparticular,thestorage,transport,anduseofignitiondevicesmaybesubjecttoregulationsthatwillvaryaccordingtothejurisdiction.Whileguidanceofageneralnatureisprovidedherein,usersofthisguideshoulddetermineregulationsthatapplytotheirsituation.
